Six Sentence Sunday: The Romance Novel Book Club

Today I have a tidbit from my latest, The Romance Novel Book Club. I picked a more colorful cheeky piece this time. 😉 Seems Patricia is having a little bit of trouble with her naughty drawer of fun time.

To my horror, the whole drawer and its contents tumbled to the floor.
“Oh no.” I jumped up and panicked, seeing the rainbow of sexual toys scattered on the floor. Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue. Like Rainbow Bright vomited on my floor. If she grew up to be a sexual deviant.

Six Sentence Sunday: The Heat of His Kiss

Today I’m bringing back a snippet from NaNo 2011. I’m far from complete with this year’s NaNo due to unforseen circumstances but I still have a sliver of hope. The Heat of His Kiss holds a special place for me. Beyond using Eros and fae, it’s about never fully realizing the love of your life is there before you. Once you get past the pain, it’s alwys hopefully you can live again.

In this scene, Mandy has walked in on her brother Justin after his heated lovemaking with his new partner. Justin and Colin’s story can be found in Evernight Publishing’s Midnight Seduction: Manlove Edition.

Her eyes squinted at the spent bottle of oil in the small living
room. “Ugh, Justin. Really? That was imported Italian olive oil.”

“And damn did it baste a tasty sausage.” He winked at her.

She chuckled, biting her bottom lip to stop from laughing.

Six Sentence Sunday: The Romance Novel Book Club

Today I bring a clip from newest novel due to be released on November 22, 2012. The Romance Novel Book Club is a labor of love for me and, because I have several projects going at the same time, took about three years to finish. This is what happens when you’re a pantser writer. 😀

In this scene, Patricia is getting a ride home from Matt after her car breaks down.

Damn, I lamented. Too bad it wasn’t a bike. I could have pressed my body up against him and curled my fingers around those amazing abs of his. Okay, at least he didn’t have a muscle car or something else men usually buy to compensate for lack of schlong size. Matt had a nice Ford Taurus. No bragging and no way to gauge his … distance.
