Ahhh.. Kaspar. When I created my second naughty fairytale The Forest Maiden, I wanted to have a strong but reclusive hero. His profession was pinned on him from the moment he was born. An inheritance he couldn’t refuse. His destiny was to be an Okhotnik–professional assassin to the Lord he serves as his father before him did. Bond to serve without question. Eirlys, of course, changes that dynamic.
At first he believes she’s a forest maiden. A spirit of the first that seduces his kind into breaking their oaths. Not that Okhotnik must abstain from any sexual contact. That part of their life is void of any feeling toward their partner. Their masters employ specially trained whores that understand that they are to purge the urges out of the assassin and nothing more. Whatever task the Okhotnik has is above all. The temptation of seduction could mean the difference between life and death.
Yet Kaspar breaks that vow with Eirlys and the bond he shared with his master snaps as his heart gives over to her. No matter where she goes and what danger follows, he senses it and protects her above all else. Through him, she is awakened to a magic lying dormant inside her. His love will only cease for when he draws his last breath. He proves that love does not make one of his profession weak but strengthens who he is as a human being.

I would want a combination of both. The reason I say this is because what good is an undying love that lasts forever if the person your in love with isn’t loyal enough to make it worth having. Nobody wants to be in love with someone who isn’t loyal but everybody wants a love that lasts a lifetime. PlumCrazie@ymail.com
Oh …excellent answer!
Loyalty is one of the main ingredients for a lasting love relationship, so I hope choosing one wouldn’t cross out the other option completely 😛 Loyalty comes first with me though, together with respect and affection.

Oh yes. Both are important.
Loyalty is extremely important to me, but there has to be a love worth clinging to for it to work!
vitajex(t)Aol(Dot)com
Love’s got to burn bright for sure.
I also like a considerate man. Loyalty is amazing but love must go with it.

In a way I think they do. One lends itself to the other yet one has to be the cornerstone in a relationship.
I would want loyalty because if I have that I will also end up with your undying love. Thank you for the hop.

Most excellent! They are bedmates, aren’t they?
undying love because with that come loyalty and trust and without them relationships fail. Thank you for the giveaway.
kaylyndavis1986@yahoo.com
Yes. Relationships need that solid foundation.
Loyalty because I’ve been burned before & it sucks.
rockybatt@gmail.com
I’ve been there too. Nothing stings more, IMO, than when someone strays.
Loyalty above else hands down. Undying love is an great idea in theory but a person can love someone intensely yet still be unfaithful or disloyal. Plus I have a hangup about loyalty in that I’ve never experienced it once in my life so I’d love that from a lover.

I think if you’re loyal to the person you love, the bond is so much stronger.
I would want both! You can’t have the love without the trust & loyalty there! If you aren’t loyal to me than you don’t really love me like you say. That’s just how I feel lol. Hope that made sense lol.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I hope you have a great weekend! =)

Makes perfect sense to me. If you can’t be loyal to the relationship then you didn’t really love me in the first place.
I want both, because I refuse to settle!
Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

Hahaha…right on!
an undying love would mean unending loyalty as well….so I’d say both!

Some may say it’s greedy, others say it’s the right thing to have in a relationship. Thanks for entering!
Undying love would be awesome. I don’t think that exists anymore though.
magic5905 at embarqmail dot com
Too many people forgetting what they have I suppose. Thanks for entering.
Loyalty… been cheated on enough times to need and want that more then anything sometimes.
I completely understand. 🙂
A good sense of humor. Someone who can make me laugh and laugh at himself is such an underrated trait. It doesn’t matter how bad it gets, if your guy can make you smile, you know you have a keeper.
Bookworm (dot) judy (at) gmail (dot) com
A sense of humor that parallels yours is also important.
Loyalty is a great quality! Without that you can not build a long lasting relationship or achieve undying love that will with stand the ups and downs. Thanks for sharing!
amybowens34@yahoo.com
Yep. Definitely the cornerstone! Thanks for entering.
Good question….in a perfect world, both. The true romantic in me says an undying love but loyalty is so very important and how do you get to the first without establishing the second?
Thanks for participating in the hop!

Lovely answer. 🙂
Loyalty is definitely at the top of the list!

I would choose undying love, because when you truly love someone you give them your trust and loyalty.
bhometchko(at)hotmail(dot)com
Yep. 🙂 thank you for entering.
I would want a sense of humor and intelligence. Loyalty would also fall into the relationship but I don’t believe in undying love anymore.

So long as the humor mirrors your own. 😉
I think Thresa has the perfect answer. A combination is the perfect scenario – and with no loyalty, no deal.
alifeamongbooks[at]gmail[dot]com
Yep. 🙂 Thanks for entering.
Loyalty is very important but you need the love to make it all worth while.
suz2(at)cox(dot)net
I would want loyalty because I believe it leads to the undying love.
thebigbluewall77 (at) gmail (dot) com
One would think.
I want both. In return I will give my entire life to him So, is that too much of a demand?
HAH! You would think not.
honesty, tired of liars – regnod@yahoo.com
love that will last forever.and till I find that I will not marry.now I just will keep having book boyfriend in-till I find him.
sasluvbooks at yahoo dot com
The trait that I want most in a lover would have to be loyalty. I find that people tend to change, whether it be for the good or bad, and therefore, relationships change. If they are loyal, they would be more willing to stick around and work on it. IMO.
The unending love would be amazing as well, but I would be happy with just loyalty. 🙂
Thank you for the great hop!

I want loyalty because without it there can’t be love.
